Relocation Eye Clinic
At the beginning of November, both ward 10/10a and the surgical area of the University Eye Hospital moved to House 101 (UFK) in Gerhart-Hauptmann-Strasse 35. Ward 10 of the University Eye Hospital is now located on Level 1 of House 101 (formerly Ward 7 of the University Hospital for Gynecology, Obstetrics and Reproductive Medicine). There, the department initially has 23 beds for inpatients, who are cared for in one of the two available eye operating rooms.
The outpatient clinic of the University Eye Hospital will remain on the main campus at Leipziger Straße 44, where patients regularly admitted on weekdays will be treated as outpatients, and emergency cases will also be cared for until 19:00.
From 7:00 p.m. on weekdays and all day on weekends and holidays, emergency care will then be provided in House 101. The doctors on call will be regularly present in House 101.
